dear ffviii: why do you abuse those poor apostrophes? )

I've also realized that my dreams could make awesome crossover crack fics. I had a dream two nights ago that managed to be a crossover between Lost, Harry Potter, Gilmore Girls, and Final Fantasy VIII. (Basically, it involved the Oceanic Six hiding out in Stars Hollow to escape from Voldemort and the Death Eaters, and Laguna was Kate's son.) That would make for an amazing crack fic, yeah?

[ETA: There's a new Lost promo and ZOMG DESMOND/PENNY BABY!]

Okay, look at that supject title. The fact that it comes from a Star Wars movie kind of makes me want to die a little... which is why I end up laughing and facepalming after pretty much every word Anakin says in Attack of the Clones. Especially during the moment when he channels Heathcliff's spirit: "You are in my very soul, tormenting me." And Padme, before the (failed) execution scene: "I've been dying a little bit each day every since you came back into my life." YOU'RE A SENATOR, DAMN IT! SHOW SOME STRENGTH! DON'T SELL YOUR SOUL TO A WHINY PADAWAN WITH A SAVING PEOPLE THING! /capslock rage of doom

And while I'm on the subject of Star Wars rants, I could go into my whole rant about how the way Padme died in Revenge of the Sith was utter crap... but I won't. I'll just think of how much Obi-Wan Kenobi is full of win instead.

My writing project is definitely going to be over 10,000 words now, since I've now got 9,672 words and am not even close to finishing. I'm thinking 15,000 total words now, probably more. I love all this progress. I'm just praying that this won't threaten to crash and burn, like my other writing project.

... What the hell, there is a commercial on TV about how you can herpes at any time from your partner. Wrong time to listen in to the TV.

I had a number of weird dreams last night, including the Illegal Driving Adventure, the Preparing to Go To Water Country Adventure, and something that I can't even begin to explain that involved a set of keys, a pair of pink and blue sneakers, and characters from How I Met Your Mother and Seinfeld. (At least there were no Asian ladies on motorcycles...)

Note to subconcious self: stop having dreams about Clarisse being pregnant. For that matter, don't have dreams about Shaylagh being pregnant either, especially if it's suggested that Mitchell's the father.

I have just encountered what should be labelled the most difficult boss in "Final Fantasy X" (at least up until this point; the final bosses are probably going to be just as hard or harder). It's also the most strategic boss I've ever encountered, because you have to position your party members so the boss's attacks only target one or none of your characters, and if a character is alive on a flashing platform you've got to move him or her before the boss attacks said platform, instantly killing the character. And meanwhile, you've got to actually attack the boss, and just when things start to get easy the boss switches direction and you've got to revive previously KO'd characters while keeping the rest of your party healed as well, and the boss keeps switching direction and counterattacking and soon you've just got one character (for me it always happens to be Auron) who's under Berserk status so he and the boss have counterattack wars and of course you end up losing because you've got fewer hitpoints. And then it's all GAME OVER and I'm all, "Defeating Sin: You're doing it wrong."

Here comes More Babbling That You Don't Care About from the Deranged Mind of Allison.

So of course, since tonight's episode of Lost was Desmond Time Travel Awesomeness, naturally I got little plot bunnies about Eltanin and his research/experiments. So after the episode was over, I went up to my room and wrote about 650 words of Eltanin explaining how he did some morally grey experiments about memory loss, but then I suddenly got really confused and backed away. Then, somehow, I got thinking about the Awesome Novel That I'm Never Going to Write Because It's Too Awesome, and how said novel would include time-travel, a futuristic utopian-type society that does some morally grey things, and a tragic hero whose life begins a downward spiral. And then I began to think about other things that said novel would include, and came up with space travel (Starships! Planets! Whee!), conlangs, and characters who have names that come from said conlangs (or if there are no conlangs, the main female must be Eden and the main male must be Xavier). Then I got a random flash of memory that involved me a couple of years ago thinking about how I might write a Romeo-and-Juliet-type story set in space. That made me think of shiny starships again.

And typing all that reminded me of a dream I had last night/this morning. I was at St. Pats (with Clarisse and I don't know who else), and there was an assembly about dental hygiene that was optional for us to go to, and we opted out.  We were in the fifth grade classroom at one point, and then we ended up in the library for some reason, and we were being sure to hide quietly because the assembly was right outside. Then we decided that maybe we did want to go to the assembly, so we snuck out and sat in the front row with all the little kids. And then sometime later we realized that the assembly was awesome, and all of a sudden we turned into penguins, and we could see ourselves as penguins on little video monitors behind where the dental hygiene people were talking, and we hoped that everyone wouldn't think it was odd that penguins were sitting in the front row with the little kids.

...Yeah, I think I'm high or drunk or something, because my head hurts and I have weird suspicion that I'm not going to remember this tomorrow (and also, I couldn't remember for a few seconds how to spell "suspicion"). I'm thinking maybe it's bedtime?

[EDIT: Argh! Why does "suspicion" look so wrong? I can't remember if it's spelled that way or not! *looks it up* WHY THE HELL DOES IT LOOK WRONG IF IT'S SPELLED RIGHT? Okay, I think I'd better go to bed before I hurt myself.]

Lost returns next Thursday at 9:00 - yay! (And there's a clip show at 8:00, but I'll end up missing most of that anyway because I'll be  at dance. It doesn't matter, though, because I know what's happening on the show, having just watched the third season in its entirety again.) So I've been having quite a few Lost-related dreams for the past few nights. The only bit I can remember from last night's dream involved Juliet crying a Single and Meaningful Tear. (I also dreamt that Isabella was pregnant, but let's just forget about that because it's not Lost-related.) I had a couple of other Lost dreams two nights ago, but I don't remember those as well. The best Lost dream that I've ever had, however, was in spring 2006 when I dreamed that the cable that Sayid/Hurley found on the beach led to an underwater hatch, where there were speakers that wouls repeat "Attention: Wonderland has ended. I repeat: Wonderland has ended." Then, a year later at the end of the third season, it turned out that the cable on the  beach led to an underwater hatch called "The Looking Glass" (which ties into Wonderland because Through the Looking Glass - which was also the title of the season 3 finale - is the sequel/companion/whatever of Alice in Wonderland). So after that dream turned out to become fairly accurate, I'm just waiting for the revelation that Desmond and Libby are controlling everything on the island (which was a dream I had a while ago).

This weekend I'm hoping to finish chapter nine and maybe chapter ten of "The Power of Light." After chapter ten, though, I don't really know what's going to happen. Chapter ten should be fun to write, though, because that's when Sari's introduced and it should be interesting to portray her as an emo kid Angsty Teenager who Hates her Family. Actually, what's going to be an even better chapter is when Sari and Perrin meet for the first time, because then I can make little author-squeals: "ZOMG SQUEE THEY'RE GOING TO GET MARRIED IN FIVE YEARS!" (Though I'm considering having this universe/society/whatever not have marriages. Yes, I have been reading way too many of
[info]limyaael's fantasy rants lately.)

Well, I can't really think of much else to say, except for Death Cab For Cutie = love. I am very thankful for the ability to go into Andrew's room and steal his CDs, because those two Death Cab for Cutie CDs are pretty damn awesome. It's becoming my inspirational music because I worked on my entire children's book while listening to them.

I've got to get my "Weird and Wonderful Words" book up here so that  I can start doing a "word of the day."

[EDIT: Read this, 'cause it's important. I somehow managed to get a 94 on my Geometry midterm. I don't know how the hell that happened, but YAY!]

I got my "Polly's Penguin Christmas" DVD today. It turned out pretty good/well, so I'm bringing it to Summer's house for New Year's. It's only 1 hour and 8 minutes long, too, so it won't take a long time like a recital DVD would.

I finished watching Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End yesterday. I'd forgotten how badass Elizabeth is in that movie. And it's not badass in a good way. Lyra is badass in a good way. Elizabeth is badass in a "Look at me, I'd be a guy if it weren't for my breasts!" way. And also? I'd like to know what she was doing wearing Will's boot right before he left to his Flying Dutchman business. Are pirate boots good sex toys, or something? Also, I was thinking right after Will gave her his heart-in-a-chest how that would be such a great conversation piece: "Nope, my husband's not home; he's busy ferrying souls to the land of the dead. But I can show you his heart!" Or to her son (William Turner III?): "Daddy's not going to be home for another 5 or so years. Here's his heart, though!"

So right now I'm working on watching Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. I've gotten lots of icon inspiration (providing I can find the images I need). That movie is chock full of Harry using the "My parents are dead, so pity me!" and "You don't understand the depths of my pain!" cards. Also, Dumbledore is incredibly mean. He's not all jolly and eccentric like he's supposed to be. I mean, right after he tells Trelawney that she can stay at Hogwarts, he turns to the students and says (rather harshly) something to the effect of "Get back to your studying!" The real Dumbledore wouldn't do that. Ah, well. As the saying goes: "Snape didn't kill Dumbledore; Michael Gambon did."

Which reminds me: I had a dream about the HBP movie last night. I dreamt that it was only rated PG and had a lot of ridiculous, stupid humor in it. (I believe there was one part where Dumbledore was talking about how he was sexy or calling somebody else sexy during part of the scene when they're going into the cave to get the Horcrux.)

I have a quote of the day today, though I can't remember if I've used it or not.

Quote of the Day:

"Welcome to the wonderful world of not knowing what the hell's going on."
--Kate, from an episode of Lost

mickey mouse

I love my subject title. I'd tell you where I got it, but then I would be called a geek & I don't want that. Let's just say that I read it, looked at it stupidly for a few moments, and then started cracking up. It's probably just me who thinks it's funny, though.

Today I whipped off my English essay in about 2. 5 hours. It's four and a bit pages long too. I also read it over many times, so hopefully it's good enough. Though I'm not so worried about my English grade anymore, since I got a 100 and 96 on my last two quizzes, but it would still be nice to have a nice essay grade.

On Sunday's entry I forgot to post about my weird dreams. One involved me in some sketchy area of a city, and this lady started chasing me with a knife, trying to slit my throat. I got trapped in an area that kind of looked like the fourth floor of the Notre Dame building, and I was about to have my throat slit but then Whitney and Hannah showed up and saved me with their fists... and their breasts :) Then I had two recurring occasions in the rest of my dreams. One was Sarah and me walking around in some city, and there was a sign that said "Do not lie" followed by a sign that said "Never Land is real." I wanted to take a picture of Sarah in front of the signs, but then my camera wouldn't work. The other recurring occasion involved me being in a parking lot, and Chirstian Hight was randomly wandering around.

Also? The Pre-ACT people think for some reason that I need to work on my colon usage skills. I find that kind of weird, considering that the one question that I did get wrong on the English section had nothing to do with colons. They must know how anal I am about colons or something.

I don't have any quote of the day for today because, quite frankly, I'm running out.

reason #893 why you shouldn't watch the episode of friends right before going to sleep that involves rachel being a week late on the due date for her baby: you have an extremely vivid dream that involves you being pregnant and late on your due date. it was the most vivid dream i've had for a long time. a lot of the time when i'm having a dream i know it's a dream, but during this dream i had no idea. it just felt so real. and of course, being the name nerd that i am, i was mad when i woke up that the dream didn't finish with the baby being born, because i wanted to know what i would have named it. (i did know that it was a girl, though.) and when i woke up, i was also sad because i don't have a baby in real life. that can be easily remedied, however, by going to clarisse's baby factory.

so this morning i thought i would commandeer my mom's camera and capture some more revenge of the sith scenes so that i can make more "anakin turning to the dark side" movies. i recorded two partial scenes, transfer them to the computer, return my mom's camera before she notices it's gone, and then discover that for some reason the videos were recorded without audio. this is not good. i still kept them, though, in case i need them for a simply musical project that doesn't involve much video audio. but it made me angry. one of them was the "good is a point of view, anakin" scene. there is so much good audio from that that i could use.

and while i'm on the subject of computer things annoying me, i have discovered that you can't do squat with midi files, except for listening to them. they're not compatible with windows movie maker (which angers me because i have so many midi clips that would make good background music), they can't be converted, and they can't be burned to cds. the only advantage to midi files is that they download quickly, even on my bad internet connection, and they don't take up that much space ("aerith's theme," the nearly-twenty-minute song, is only around 110 kb).

[EDIT: okay, since most people seem to be pissed off at me because of the whole thanksgiving thing, i thought i would clear a few things up just because i'm the kind of person who needs to have all the facts straight and doesn't like people thinking something different than what i intended. first of all, i definitely don't dislike the "giving thanks" part of thanksgiving. i do like that part. i also have nothing against the pilgrims (though my location yesterday might have suggested something different). i just don't like how most of the holiday is defined by eating food. it's kind of like how some people dislike how christmas seems to be all about commercialism and presents. i just don't like how a holiday for giving thanks is represented by stuffing yourself with a certain meal. yes, i know that you people probably still won't agree with me. but this is one of the only things that i have a major opinion on (the other, i think, would be the pointlessness of always trying to be "politically correct" and pleasing everybody), so i wanted to show it.]

quote of the day:

"the jedi and the sith are alike in almost every way, including in their quest for greater power."
--palpatine, from star wars episode iii: revenge of the sith

i had quite a lovely evening last night. i went out to applebee's for dinner with my mom and then we went shopping at kohl's. i got a pair of pants, some socks, and a ZOMG COMFY fleece hooded thing. then we went to best buy and bought season 8 of friends. then we went home and watched friends for two hours. it made me feel shiny to be absorbed into all the zomgrossandrachelarehavingababy! woes.

and all of that was probably why i had a dream last night that i got pregnant when i was 13. it was kind of sketchy. and the really annoying thing was that the father of the baby was never mentioned in the dream. and it was all in a flashback-type structure: it began with all of us looking at a scrapbook, and it began when we were 13 and we were all remembering that i was pregnant back then. and then it kind of flashed back to when i was pregnant, but i don't really remember anything else. and then i had a strange harry potter dream that involved harry dying and then being resurrected and then visiting his 15-year-old son. and then there was another dream about dancing in latin class, except the goth couple from the amazing race was there.

also, speaking of reproduction, katelyn things i have promiscuous mouth cells. (wow, i just realized that that could be a bit awkward if it wasn't having to do with a lab in biology class.)

i really, really want to come up with a better name for the citadel of destiny as soon as possible. too bad i don't have my latin book, because i'm sure i could find something in there. i really want to use "vocari" (latin for "to be called") somewhere, either as a place name or last name, but it's too close to sari's last name (before she marries perrin, that is) and reminds me of the volturi from twlight/new moon/eclipse. i really want to commandeer "nibelheim" for something, but it's not proper to commandeer names from "final fantasy vii."

the song that i'm currently listening to is three seconds short of twenty minutes long. this amuses me for some reason.

not sure if the quote dialogue of the day is totally accurate, but it amuses me so much.

[EDIT: zomg this is pretty much the most entertaining/funny thing ever. click here for the "brain hurt" pairings generator. it basically mixes fandoms up for some ridiculous pairings. here are some of the funny ones that i've gotten: carmen sandiego/hagrid, dominic monaghan (actor who played charlie on lost)/gary (the snail from spongebob squarepants), professor flitwick/serafina pekkala(witch from his dark materials trilogy), rachel green (from friends)/mon mothma (side character in star wars episode vi), luna lovegood/albus dumbledore, mickey mouse/boss nass (gungan leader from star wars episode i), moaning myrtle/queen lillian (the queen in the second and third shrek movies, buddy (from elf)/carmen (from sisterhood of the traveling pants).]

quote dialogue of the day:

rachel: well, apparently condoms are only effective 97% of the time.
ross: ...what? well, they should put that on the box! *runs to look at condom box* well, they should put it in big, block letters! i'm going to complain to the company!
rachel: ...ross, forget about the condoms.
ross: well, i might as well have!

for those of you who haven't heard yet, here is a link to one of the articles that reports j.k. rowling's declaration that dumbledore is gay. i personally think it's kind of random. i mean, i'm not one to picture dumbledore with a sex life =/

so i had a most interesting morning this morning. first, i was having a dream that involved orlando bloom, keira knightley, and some other attractive actor with a british accent (i think it was either ewan mcgregor or that guy from across the universe). the premise of the dream had something to do with the punic wars, i think (or some other kind of random ancient war; it would most likely be the punic wars, though, because we've been studying them in western civ). anyway, in the dream it was the end of the battle and the three attractive accented actors were on a sinking wooden boat, and there was one guy from one side (of the people fighting), and then the other guy and keira knightley were from the other side of the war. (i don't remember which guy was on which side, so we'll just call them guy 1 and guy 2.) so guy 2 (who's on the opposite side from keira knightley), really has a crush on her but doesn't want to be involved with the enemy. but guy 1 (who's on the same side as her) starts kissing her first, but she isn't happy about it. so guy 2 says something like "wait, that's wrong" and then he pulls guy 1 away and starts kissing her. and she likes this, so she and guy 2 are just kind of floating in the water (because by now the little wooden boat has practically sunk) for a while and making out. so it's after this little escapade that i wake up to my alarm. usually i wake up to my ipod, but this time it was the beeper alarm, but for some reason i don't think anything of it. but then i realize that my clock isn't lit up, so i'm just like, "huh?" and then i think, "hmm... maybe the power has randomly gone out." so i try to turn on my light, which doesn't work. so yup, the power's randomly decided to go out. then i realize that this completely sucks because i have to take a shower. and i can't go to school dirty of course. so i'm just lying there with a flashlight that's practically dead, completely pissed off and thinking about how much i hate my life. this happens for about 10 minutes. then the power comes on again, so i get up and do a Dance of Joy, and then get in the shower. as my mom said to me, "the power gods must have been looking fondly upon you."

also, kirjava is on her way to being completely healed! she's been playing dvds for a couple weeks now with no fuss whatsoever, and today she managed to read the cd of pictures from sarah's camp! so now i have lots of lesbian lover pictures on my computer. if anyone else wants the disk, i can give it to them friday (or anytime beforehand if you're an sta person). so if kirjava is still being agreeable, i just may have a cd for bella! *glee* but you owe me one too, so don't forget. we'll be at your house so i can NAG you! =)

...finally, is it a wee bit pathetic that when we were talking about the downfall of the roman republic in western civ today, i was thinking of the republic in star wars the whole time? i also find ways to compare macbeth to the lion king in english class. (and matt drew me a lady macbeth muffin! squee!)

i think i've done this quote of the day within the past few months, but it's the only one i can think of at the moment.

Quote of the Day:

"I didn't realize it was Happy Hopping Moron Day."
--Squidward, from an episode of Spongebob Squarepants
mickey mouse
so this morning my mom made crepes for breakfast, which is awesome because crepes are yummy, especially with cinnamon and powdered sugar. but what makes it even more awesome is that i swear that last night one of my dreams involved somebody going to make crepes. do you know what this means? i have prophetic dream powers, man!

...of course, if i really did have prophetic dream powers, the school authorites would tell me that instead of my second lunch period, i now wil take pre-calculus with shaylagh because i'm just so darn good at math. but we all know that's not going to happen anytime soon, so maybe i just have select prophetic skills.

also, last night i finished reading my "kingdom hearts" scripts (but i skimmed through a lot of the disney storylines--especially in kh2 because the game is more than twice as long as the first game). i was reminded of axel's awesomeness once again. he is one of those misunderstood almost-villains. i love misunderstood would-be villains. also, i want to commandeer the names saïx and auron.

while reading the scripts, however, i got all sorts of plot bunnies. i didn't actually write any of them, though, but i did write 600-some words of "the power of light." i would have written more but a) it was past midnight and b) i was at a place in the chapter where i basically had to make it not boring for the reader as keira goes from point a to point b and i'm not really good at that kind of thing.

also, three years ago on this day flight 815 crashed on the island "lost" debuted on abc. which means i've been watching it for a little over 2 years (since i didn't start watching it until the first season came out on dvd. maybe today i shall watch a little bit of the first season, in which the survivors' biggest problems are the distant sounds of the monster (who later eats the pilot), surviving on the beach, hearing strange distress calls from a crazy frenchwoman, shooting a polar bear, learning to trust each other, and struggling to accept the fact that rescue may not be coming. okay, maybe that's a lot of problems, and that's only the first two episodes. but hey, life was good before the others reared their ugly heads.

actually, i have a strange desire to watch disney movies. you know what movie kh2 really made me want to watch? "tron." i've never seen it before because it's one of those really obscure movies. but also, i want to watch "toy story" and/or "aladdin." also i want to watch "hercules," but i don't own that one.

for my 16th birthday we're watching lots of disney movies, savvy?

Quote of the Day:

"I have left the outsiders. I am a rogue. Judge me now for who I am, or am I to be blamed for a crime that I didn't commit?"
--Kovu, from The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride

there's a song that's inside of my soul

  • Sep. 10th, 2007 at 4:21 PM
mickey mouse
You know when you're a grammar geek when you spend your whole time getting ready for school trying to make a line from a song grammatically correct. I had "All at Once" by the Fray stuck in my head - and it was the first line that goes "There are certain people you just keep coming back to." So that "to" at the end was really bothering me, so I fixed to be "There are certain people to whom you just keep coming back" but that didn't fit with the tune, so I always wanted to add another "to" at the end, but that's not right. Eventually I gave up.

oh screw it i'm not going to use any more capital letters. let's face it: it's cool not to be capital and still use proper grammar. it's not like i don't know what capital letters are for (for what capital letters are!). besides, i type even more faster than usual when i don't have to shift as much.

i've decided to make designations for my teachers because i don't like to use last names on the internet (even if things are friends-locked). so this is my list thus far:

mrs. warren = crazy!latin teacher
mrs. chadwick = ocd!geometry teacher
mr. wolter = sketchy!scripture teacher
mr. burnett = amusing!western civ teacher

& i don't have anything for my last two teachers. i must work on that.

anyway, today i got really annoyed with ocd!geometry teacher, and usually i don't allow myself to become annoyed with her. part of the reason was because she had a fan going even though it wasn't hot outside, and it was right behind me so basically i froze my bum off even though i was wearing a sweater. and then she was going on about making your "drawlings" perfect and how sometimes you need to work at your problems and how geometry is not algebra because you have to think more and it's not all systematic. for some reason all that babble annoyed me. probably 'cause i was cold. but i did get a 99 on her quiz, which is good.

yesterday i was watching the recital video from 2003 because at the auditions on saturday the lyrical dance we did was from that recital [when i heard the music i was like, "zomg mummer's dance!"] and i wanted to see if the choreography was the same [which it was]. i really want to be in that dance, but i probably won't be because the original choreography was for six people & i can think of six people who would be in the dance before i would be. but i can hope for understudy. i also really want to understudy tango/santa maria [which is a dance from last year, so it'll basically be the same people as last year]. anyway. on to the video. the video was of rather crappy quality, so most of it ended up being in black & white [and the black & white quality was actually far better than the color quality]. i felt retro watching it. there were some really awesome dances that year. and it's weird to think that in that recital whitney, kaylee, and leah were freshmen and tawni, tiffany, and hannah were sophomores. they were much better than i am now =( except in tap; we're pretty much the same level there.

i have my first ballet class [my first ballet five class - squee!] today. the cast list for the x-mas show is supposed to be up sometime early this week. i hope it'll be up today, but probably not.

oh, and my mom looked in the sps swap shop today for uniforms, but she couldn't find anything. so i guess we'll have to do something else for twin day [or clarisse and shaylagh can do it with gabi's stuff & sarah and i will just do something else]. last night i had a dream that i wore an sps uniform to sta [on a regular day]. i was wearing the sweater and everything. except i remember that in the dream some random guy kept trying to look up my skirt. and then there was this random alarm and we all thought we had to duck for cover alongside our lockers, but it was really because there was a solar eclipse thingy going on outside. so we looked at it & it was pretty. yeah, i have weird dreams. but you know that.

also, we have a new ship. it's called rob/shaylagh's english book cover. or if it's the threesome version, it's rob/matt/shaylagh's english book cover. english class is so amusing.

i leave you with a funny piece of dialogue from the auditions that is probably only really funny to me:

cheryl: so we're going to do four stomp time steps, except you're going to end the last one with a stamp.
emily h: ...wait, what are stomp time steps again?
cheryl: *whacks emily h with her notebook*

yeah, that's definitely only funny to me. how about this conversation from clarisse's party:

me: who would you rather have sex with, an elf or a dwarf?
sarah: ...a dwarf, because they have big mine picks.

Quote of the Day:

PLEASE READ ME.

Okay, so my mom thinks that I should now be the designated planner for Mugglefest because Shaylagh's parent(s) is/are not driving. The problem is that I hate planning. SO, I need to find out these things from people as soon as possible so I don't have to get on the -gasp- FELLYTONE:

1) Isabella, is one or more of your parents going, and if not, do you need a ride?
2) Is Sarah going?

I hate being responsible for planning. Please help?

In other news, I had a dream last night that involved Shaylagh, Clarisse, Mitchell, and me going to Water Country (except it didn't quite look like Water Country, but that's beside the point). Anyway, we were all floating around in the Adventure River when all of a sudden Clarisse and I look over and there's Shaylagh and Mitchell snogging. So Clarisse gets all angry and I say, "Well, maybe if we go ride Geronimo a bunch of times in a row, you'll forget about it." So we go to do that, except then there's a thunderstorm and they close all the rides. There were other random parts to the dream too, but I don't remember them.

Last night in drivers ed we were reading from the Maine Drivers Handbook thingy, and I found a misplaced comma AND " its'. " Is is just me, or is " its' " not a word? AND then in one of these mini-video driver safety commercial type things that we watched, "your" was used instead of "you're." Making fun of improper grammar is my main source of entertainment in that class.

4 MORE DAYS UNTIL DH!!!!!! (EEPU) Fwee!

[EDIT: It's supposed to rain on Friday. My mom's becoming rather gripe-y.]

Quote Harry Potter Excerpt of the Day:

"Oh," said Ron, his smile fading slightly. "Are you that bad at kissing?"
"Dunno," said Harry, who hadn't considered this, and immediately felt rather worried. "Maybe I am."
"Of course you're not," said Hermione absently, still scribbling away at her letter.
"How do you know?" said Ron in a sharp voice.

Wow. I haven't posted two days in a row for a long time. I think. I might've done it last week sometime. I don't remember.

So last night I had this weird dream about The Lion King, and the dialogue of it went something like this:

NALA: I'm pregnant!
SIMBA: Whoa. That's cool.
NALA: No it's not! We haven't even properly had sex yet!
SIMBA: What about that time that we rolled down the hill together?
NALA: That wasn't real sex. That was just you saying, "Hey, wanna bang?"

It's amusing how my subconscious can make The Lion King seem dirty like that.

I have two more gifts, most of them for Isabella's benefit.

Okay, that's all. I think that's been official cut overload.

Whoa. So I opened this and a "save from restored draft?" message popped up, and because I was curious like Pandora I clicked yes and so then my last entry popped up o.o

(oh, and it took me about three tries just now to type "restored." I kept tying "repsorted" for some reason. I do that all the time. And sometimes I think that I am typing dyslexic.)

I kinda want a snow day tomorrow so I can stay home and write all day unless something better comes along. I only have seven more chapters left to do on my parody (before starting the parody of the next segment/book/part/whatever... I feel that I can really do things with that as well with the third segment/part/book/whatever. I already have plans to have Summer the stripper and Sarah the exotic dancer referenced in the second segment/part/oh I give up. Also, I have a bunch of ideas to add to Handprint On My Heart (which I'll probably work on tonight). I swear that more of myself is going into Sari with every passing day, but that's another issue. Before I know it, though, she's going to end up with an immense fear of failure and occasional jealousy issues and I want to save her from that misery.

So last night's episode of Lost was so funny. It was more of a comic-relief episode than anything, but next's sweek episode is supposed to reveal a lot of answers, according to the TV Guide. Yay. There haven't been nearly enough answers lately.

I had a great dream last night. I was at some fast food place and the guy behind the counter wouldn't give me my food because my face kept changing appearance so he thought I was a different person every time. So I went into this huge bathroom place and looked at my face in the mirror, and every few seconds my face would change. It was a pretty cool dream.

So at school things are really screwed up so my font is really really insanely small. I don't like it.

I'm happpy because I'm almost done with my theology project. I just need to make one more page, decorate my pages, and decorate my cover. Yay.

I had this dream a couple nights ago that I was reading this story that was like the reverse of The Little Mermaid and I made fun of it. And hopefully, in other writing news, I'll get some reviews on Fictionpress because this guy offered to review some of my stuff =)

Yeah I'm pretty much stuck here for another half an hour and I am bored to death. So I'll just hang out with Ronnie nad Katelyn and Gilbert.

I'm on an awesome-dream streak. Last night I had a Lost-theory dream, and those dreams are always awesome. This dream involved me watching Lost, and on the show it turned out that the whole island was just this projected simulation (kind of like in Kingdom Hearts 2 with the simulated Twilight Town) and Desmond and Libby were in cahoots together controlling it. And all the people on the island (including themselves) were simulated images, and basically Desmond and Libby were controlling everything that was happening on the the island (which, apparently, means that Libby felt the need to kill herself off) . And I remember thinking in the dream, "OMG this must be the big 'game-changing' plot twist that TV Guide mentioned--Desmond and Libby are like God!"

...Yeah, that dream was a lot cooler in my head.

I'm really pissed that tomorrow isn't a dress down day. Those evil school administation people. But I'm lucky that I'm not like certain suckers who are in school all week =)

I really hope Mrs. Chadwick is at school tomorrow because I sure as heck don't want to do a ton of busy work AGAIN with the creepy substitute. Seriously, I was finishing my homework from Monday today, and I thought I was going to die, because it's all review stuff.

Oh, and apparently if you think about how you want to kill someone, it's a mortal sin. Which isn't really good for me, because a lot of bad stuff goes through my head sometimes.

OMG I JUST FOUND SOME SITES WITH DOWNLOADABLE LION KING SOUNDS AND I AM SO PISSED THAT I'M NOT ON MY COMPUTER.

So somehow I always fail to realize how evil cardio barre is until I'm actually doing it, and then I feel like I'm either having a baby or dancing in hell. But I feel so good after, so I guess it's more like I'm having a baby.

I had another awesome dream last night =) Well, two awesome dreams, actually. The first one involved me driving my dad's car all by myself (except I couldn't get it to park) and I remember thinking in the dream that I felt so free driving by myself. And in my other dream I was married, except at some points in the dream I wasn't me, and throughout the whole dream the guy I was married to was kind of nameless and faceless. But I remember that we were really happy together, and at one point we were walking on a snowy sidewalk and then playing in the snow, and then at another part we were at a beach. It was such a nice dream =) And the best part is that it gave me inspiration. YAY INSPIRATION!

So today after school I was walking down the hall towards Clarisse's locker (except she wasn't there) and I passed two people hugging, and I was all sarcastically in my head, "Oh, great, a boy and a girl hugging," and then I looked more closely and realized that it was Katelyn and Gilbert o.o And while I'm talking about hallway canoodling, I hate when I have to go to English from break because I have to walk down most of junior hallway and they're still lingering there and I always spot at least one couple kissing or doing similar actions. And on C days when I go up to science from homeroom I always pass this same couple in sophomore hallway.

I'm in a list-y kind of mood today so I'm going to make lists of reasons why I'm happy today and why I'm angry today.

10 Reasons Why I'm Happy Today

1. I got a 100 on my Catholic test
2. I got a 4 on my Catholic quiz (4 out of 4, not 4 out of 100)
3. I have Latin tomorrow
4. I didn't have a quiz in English today
5. I've had awesome dreams 2 nights in a row
6. I'm inspired
7. I feel worked out from cadio barre in ballet
8. There's one week until Christmas
9. There's only two days of school until break
10. We used lots of the cool Christmas music in ballet today

10 Reasons Why I'm Angry Today

1. I hate my left pointe shoe
2. My calculator ran out of batteries
3. In algebra we had the creepy substitute who gave us enough busy work to make me never want to see an inequality again
4. I hate turns
5. There were questions on my wellness test that involved information that we hadn't really covered
6. We used the stupid music in pointe today
7. SPS gets out of school tomorrow
8. I have a ton of pages of The Odyssey to read tonight (even though it's a pretty good book)
9. My mom is practically hovering over me
10. I can't think of another thing that I'm angry about

I had the most awesome dream last night. I think I was Kaarisme from my stories and I was in a car with these two evil guys and we were driving and driving and doing all this stuff in order to get home, and one of the things involved us infiltrating this big party at this big house and the evil guys sent me out to wait in the car so I did and when they came back they gave me this big piece of chocolate cake so I was happy. And because we were taking so long to get home, I remember realizing at one point, "Hahahaha, this is just like The Odyssey!"

I had some very ineresting dreams last night. One involved me swimming across the Piscataqua River with a 12-year-old hot boy (not Mitchell, though), and I wanted to go out with him but then he was like, "I just got out of a big relationship" and I felt like saying, "Dude, you're 12." Yeah. I have the strangest dreams. And I also can't remember whether I woke up at 2 AM last night or not.

So I meant to update two or so days ago, talking about me reading a certain thing that I wrote at Deanna's birthday party last year, but I didn't, so I'll do it today. Yeah. So I swear I was high or drunk or something that night because that seriously borders on literary porn. Remind me to never again write a full-blown sex scene.

I've been mapping out "Poetic Justice" lately, and I'm pretty sure I'm not going to be finishing it by the end of the month. Right now it seems that there's going to be 80 or so (albeit short) chapters, and before Shayla starts scolding me, a lot of the events in my fourth book will be included in it, so I can get a jump on my book 4 rewrite. But it kind of has to be long because it's basically Kaarisme's life from when she's 8 until she's...37 I think. It's a BILDUNGSROMAN NOVEL! (yay English 9 Honors for teaching me that!)

uhhh I have nothing else to say. Except this quote of the day totally kicks ass.
