anybody want a fear of failure/extreme frustration when you can't do something? i'll gladly give you mine. you don't even have to play for it. it'll be free.
but seriously, yesterday and today there have been times in which i can't do something and i get frustrated and angry with myself because i want to be able to do it. and all the while i'm angry at myself for getting worked up about because i know that nobody's perfect and no one can do everything. so then i'm exasperated.
i do, however, have two happy things to say:
1. i'm most definitely using "nuin" for the thoswodawnian government. it will be called "the Nuin." thank you, summer.
2. i found the name to my "mystery song." basically, on a cd that deanna burned for me at the end of 8th grade, there was one song for which she forgot to write down the title & artist, so i couldn't put it on my ipod (because i didn't want a song called "track 18" floating around). but i looked up part of the lyrics to it right now, and i found it. that makes me happy, because it's a pretty good song.
also, i realized that "rockstar" by nickelback sends very positive messages to the youth. "hey kids! become rockstars and you'll be addicted to drugs and sex! yay!" that song was stuck in my head for the longest time because last night on the way home from ballet katy was blasting it when it came on the radio. i felt a certain sense of doom as she was blasting the song at full volume while barreling down 236 at 10mph over the speed limit =|
i have also made amazing comparisons when it comes to macbeth. first, macbeth=scar because macbeth's goal in life is to kill duncan to become the king, while scar's goal in life is to kill mufasa to become king. also, duncan=dumbledore because for both of them, their greatest flaws are being too trusting.
