Note to self: Do not spent excessive time reading the Tear Jerker page on the TV Tropes Wiki, as it brings about severe depression. (Makes me really want to write the depressing parts of Across the Ocean, because there's a very significant character death that pretty much brings down the mood of the whole plot for a while.)
So you know the mysterious technological event involvingSephiroth my alarm clock and the random playing of "Make Your Own Kind of Music" when I got out of the shower that I was talking about on Tuesday? I think I've figured out the mystery. The reason the song was still playing when I came back into my room, despite the fact that I thought that it would have moved on to another song, was because I have my playlists set to repeat once they're done, and so I had selected "Make Your Own Kind of Music" even though I had selected it through artist name, it still counted that as being on a playlist, and since that's the only song I have by Cass Elliot, it just played on repeat over and over. This was confirmed yesterday when I had Laguna my iPod plugged in to Squall my computer (to use my 133+ h@x0r skills and transfer music off my iPod to my computer) and I realized that "Make Your Own Kind of Music" had a play count of 12, and the only way that I could have listened to the song 12 times (since I only bought it a couple of weeks ago) is if it had accidentally been on repeat.
So yeah, long story short, one technological mystery has been solved. Now if only I could figure out how FFX got onto my Lost season four finale tape...

Since I was talking about being depressed over Tear Jerker moments earlier, I thought I'd share some silly too. Sonic Weapon Fence, a band that sings humorous Lost songs. My personal favorites are "Magic Box" and "Mixed Signals." (In my own moment of humorous musical moments today, I started making up lyrics to the instrumental "Aerith's Theme" from FFVII which basically state over and over again that Aerith Is Dead and We Are Sad... but that's another story altogether.)
Yes, I am a dork past midnight.

Everyone come and see my awesome newest character from this computer game I play:

I'm sad because I haven't any awesome dreams for two nights in a row =(
I just discovered how in part of my original draft for The Power of Light I ripped of Kingdom Hearts so much. I mean, in one chapter half the dialogue is taken from the game. And then there's this one part when there's a "stampede of Anti-Spirits" and when I was just reading that, I was thinking, "Why don't I put it all in a gorge and then I could rip off The Lion King as well!" Plus, I realized how stupid of a character Hayden is. In one part, there are two guys trying to capture her, and when she finds this out, she turns to Raen and Keira and is like, "They seem to be after me. Let's follow them." And I wish that I knew two years ago that excessive use of ellispes do not CREATE suspense, they DESTROY suspense.
Algebra yesterday morning totally sucked. We had a different substitute, and this guy was a total math freak man. Instead of just letting us do our own busy work like the other sub did, he had us all work on it together in class, and he was all, "Do it as fast as you can! But remember that speed is only second to accuracy!" and then toward the end of class he was like, "Okay, five minutes to go! Let's see how much we can finish! Four minutes to go! We can finish this!" But the good thing was that in all my other classes we didn't do any work, except for taking a quiz in science and a quiz in Latin. And in Latin we sang Christmas songs (which caused me to have VOLUMUS FELIX SATURAL stuck in my head all day). We were going to play "continue our philosophical Jesus discussion and fine Paul for every time he says 'like'," but we didn't. Mrs. Warren is so mean to him in that class.
